Doxa Threelay
Dóxa (Greek for “glory”) is the first triathlon relay of it’s kind. In the past if you wanted to do a triathlon with friends or family you were forced to compete against them or only do one of the three legs. Dóxa provides you with the opportunity to team up with friends and family!

Each of the triathletes on your team can have a swim, bike, and run leg, or you can divide up the legs how you would like! You and your team will travel 285 miles from start to finish over a two day period of non-stop triathlon. The overnight triathlon relay is an unforgettable and incredible experience.

Dóxa is the perfect opportunity for you to participate in your first triathlon because you will be able to rest between each leg! It is also easier when you have 11 team mates making sure you give it all you got!

If you are a seasoned triathlete, compete with only a few friends or even try the Doxaman or Doxawoman Challenge by completing all 36 legs by yourself!

Dóxa starts at Starvation Reservoir in Duchesne, passes through Tabiona, Hanna, Jordanelle, Midway, Provo, Springville, Spanish Fork, Mona, Nephi, Fountain Green, Mt. Pleasant, Fairview, Huntington, and ends in Price Utah!

Be prepared to see some of the most beautiful scenery that Utah has to offer!

Anything 4 a Friend F2TF 5k
6th Annual--Anything for a Friend F2TF 5K
FRIENDS OLD AND NEW:

Many of you will be returning for the 6th Annual Anything for a Friend F2TF 5k. Returners are well aware of the story that brought this all together, but for those of you that are new, we would love to share the special story behind why we are doing what we are doing and the uniqueness of this 5k.

HISTORY:

6 years ago this coming May, this world lost a unique and special person and his name was Tyler Smith, he was only 15 years old when he died. Tyler waged a battle with an adult liver cancer that literally strikes one in a million kids. He was truly one in a million!

F2TF (Fight to the Finish) was Tyler’s mantra right from the beginning of his battle and has become part of his lasting legacy. That legacy is at the heart of this Annual 5k.

There has been an outpouring of sentiment, stories, and touching gestures surrounding the F2TF slogan and it has become a burning mission of Anything for a Friend to share Tyler’s message of fighting to the finish in a more powerful and widespread manner.

There is a clear and simple connection between the FIGHT TO THE FINISH battle cry and the conflict waged in the middle of a run. Tyler understood that everyone’s fight was different, but we all had a conscious decision to make, to stand up and fight, or sit down while life passed before our eyes. Life is beautiful and life is difficult, the Anything for a Friend F2TF 5K is about a conscious choice to FIGHT and persevere through the difficult challenges of life. This 5K brings together the true champions who have fought, are fighting, or have painfully desired to fight for another. It is a hallowed expression about the undeniable resilience of the human spirit; of our irrefutable need to garner HOPE when hope and peace seem distant! Thank you Tyler for teaching us about the power of fighting through the hard. We honor you and our loved ones in the 6th Annual Anything for a Friend F2TF 5K by truly REMEMBERING!

Dear friends,

We will be holding a special balloon launch and butterfly release in memory and celebration of our loved ones just prior to the start of the 5K.

Crazy Bobs Bair Gutsman
An 11 mile run, walk, crawl up Bair Canyon and then a run down Farmington Canyon.

Race will take place on August 4, 2018, beginning at 6am.

"Do not even consider running this race, the OLDEST UTAH MOUNTAIN RACE and one of the truly ugly experiences in the annuals of mountain running, unless you either have a signature from a qualified sponsor or you know Martial Thirsk, Arne Hultquist, Eric Jensen, one of the Iverson Family, another wacko who has actually done the race, Doug from Glen's Tires, or Crazy Bob himself, when he lived (or maybe you've talked with him since that evil night he died, in which case you don't have to pay a registration fee, in which case we owe you). Consider this: snakes, no water, a king-hell curmudgeon for a race director, heat and a view that has no parallel after you make it past the truly infamous DEATH ROW. Yes, this is the race that no one has yet been able to run since 4,000 vertical feet in the first four miles and the total 11 -13 miles depending on the way you live your life is laden with rocks, creeks, floods, DEVASTATION, moral turpitude, and, at the end of your trial and tribulations, a watermelon or two, and a few canteloupes. Nothing more. No deals. No dancing girls. No coke machines on the trails. No mile markers. Nothing but blood, sweat and rattlesnakes. A dynamite t-shirt if you pre-register. If you're looking for something, this isn't the race for you. If you've already got it, then welcome."

?

NO WHINERS ALLOWED!! Good luck. You'll need it. There's no trail. It's a bushwack into the jaws of death.
