Hobbit Day 5K & 10K – The Journey to Middle Earth
Did you know that September 22 is Hobbit Day? It’s the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins! We are celebrating with our third annual Hobbit Day 5K & 10K – Journey to Middle Earth!
September is also Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month, so we will be donating at least 15% of every registration to Be The Match, “for the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Make A Difference Day 5k & 10K - Remembering Mother Teresa (Virtual Race)
For our second annual Make A Difference 5K and 10K, we want to honor Mother Teresa. The medal has a quote from her that says, “Do Small Things With Great Love.”

October 27th is National Make A Difference Day. So you have the entire month of October to complete your Make A Difference Day 5K & 10K: Remembering Mother Teresa, and we encourage you to go out and do a random act of kindness too!

Day of the Dead begins October 31st and ends November 2nd. It is a Mexican holiday in which families remember and honor their deceased loved ones. To celebrate we are hosting our first annual Day of the Dead 5K & 10K! Grandparents Day 1 Mile, 5K & 10K
Did you know that National Grandparents Day is September 9th? We are celebrating with our first annual Grandparents Day 1 Mile, 5K & 10K! Gather your kids and your friends and celebrate all of the amazing Grandparents out there! The medal says, “Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children,” – Alex Haley. You have the entire month of September to complete your race.
Plus, September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and at least 15% of every registration will go to ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer, which is the leading national nonprofit with the mission to end prostate cancer. ZERO advances research, improves the lives of men and families, and inspires action. ZERO has been on the front lines fighting for a cure for more than twenty years.

WSU Turkey Triathlon and 5K
The 14th Annual Turkey Triathlon put on by Weber State Campus Recreation includes a 5k run, 10k bike, 300yd swim, and is a reverse sprint distance to introduce participants to Triathlons. The race circles the Weber State Campus, which offers gorgeous views of the Wasatch Front as you run and bike.

Entry into this fit and fun event provides a t-shirt, race packet (with samples and goodies), a chance to get tri experience, the chance to win some sweet prizes (need a turkey for Thanksgiving, you can win one here!), and a great day filled with fun!

The race will take place on November 3rd at 9am. Start line and transition area for the race will be at Swenson Gym, Parking Lot A7 on the Weber State Campus.

The top 3 male and female finishers will recieve an award, as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category.

There will be a sweet raffle at the end of the race for some awesome prizes!

Day of race check-in, packet pick-up and registrations will take place in Swenson Gym beginning at 7am.

Parking is open on Weber State Campus on Saturdays, so park in lots that are close to Swenson Gym, but avoid the A7 lot where the transition area will be. Visit weber.edu/weberstatemap/ for a detailed look at the campus.

Make sure to bring a helmet to wear for the bike portion of the race, and dress in your most festive turkey attire!

Turkey Triathlon & 5k
This is a reverse order triathlon: Run-Bike-Swim
Run- 3.1 miles(one loop) one hill on the course as you run North on 800w between 800s and 400s

Bike- 12 miles (3 loops) This is an open course; cars will be driving alongside you. Orem PD will be located at all 4-way stops and lights along the course. This does not mean that you should blow through the intersection. Please use caution as Orem PD will do their best to keep you safe.
There is one hill that you will hit 3 times on the bike course. It along Center street from 1200w to 800w. Once you hit that hill for the third time you know you'll be heading into to transition to swim.

Swim- 350 meters in the Orem Fitness Center indoor pool.

Transition area- In the image below you can see the transition area is located right where it says Mountain View High School. The race parking is the upper parking lot, right along Center Street.

Snow Canyon 1/2 Marathon, 5K, & Tuff Kids' Run
This Half Marathon is a beautiful route through the scenic landscape of Snow Canyon State Park. The course is USATF certified primarily downhill, super fast and challenging! It is one of the most breathtaking courses St. George has to offer! 5K runners will start at Snow Canyon High School and run on the surrounding trails that finish on the High School track. Move It! Kids events will take place on the track and the surrounding areas of the High School.

Holiday Heroes 5K and 1 Mile \'Fun\'draiser Run
Riverton City and the Unified Police Department are once again instilling ‘Fun’ in their annual holiday fundraiser. Every year in November, runners and walkers participate in the Holiday Heroes 5K and 1Mile Fun Run. This is no ordinary event, but a chance to give to those in need during the holidays. Participants are asked to donate non-perishable food or monetary donations the day of the race. All donations and proceeds will benefit local families in need. This is a great event for the whole family! Santa will be present at the finish line and all participants receive a Holiday Heroes Christmas Ornament!

Moab Trail Marathon
A spectacular journey though some of Moab's most scenic and unique lands. There is a trail marathon, 1/2 marathon, and adventure 5k. This is the 7th year of the race and it will be the USATF Trail Marathon National Championship. A course not to be missed! Entry includes a t-shirt, medal, awards, food and drink, and an awesome and well-marked course.

Registration opens on March 1st. We will be offering an additional Sunday 1/2 Marathon option this year. Race typically fills up by Aug. 1st.
